Fun Family Events In Rochester

Each week Calcagno Cosmetic and Family Dentistry enjoys bringing you news about upcoming events in the community. There is always so much to see and do in Rochester. Community Events

  1. The Nutcracker: The Allegro School of Dance and Music will be presenting a Ballet Preview of The Nutcracker at the Rochester Public Library (101 Second Street SE). The show is open for the whole family and will take place in the 1st floor auditorium. You do not need to register beforehand. The show takes place on Saturday, November 12th at 10:30am.
  2. Deer and Elk: The Oxbow Park/Zollman Zoo (located at 5731 County Road 105 NW) will have a special hike to the deer and elk pens on Saturday, November 12th at 11am. You can see them eat, watch them, and learn about their behavior.   3. Map of My Kingdom: The Mantorville Opera House will be presenting Map of My Kingdom, a play about the transfer of farmland in the coming years. The play will be performed on November 13th at 2pm at the Mantorville Operate House.
  4. Homework Help: The Rochester Public Library will be offering Homework Help for teens and other school age children on November 14th-17th and 21st-30th at 6pm. The library is located at 101 Second Street SE. Proceed to Meeting Room C on the 1st Floor. The meetings will be led by instructor Sarah Joynt. No prior registration necessary.
