Local Community Events

Game Club: The Rochester Public Library will be hosting the Game Club on Tuesday, January 26th from 2:30pm until 3:30pm for homeschooled children and 3:30pm until 4:30pm for other kids. Bedtime Stories: The Rochester Public Library (101 2nd Street SE) will be hosting bedtime stories for kids from 6:30pm until 7pm. Parent/Child Climbing Class: The Prairie Walls Climbing Gym will be hosting a rock climbing class for both parents and children on Tuesday, January 26th from 6pm until 8pm. Admission is $40 for adults and kids over the age of 12. Kids 11 and younger pay $20. The price includes equipment rental and a free day pas coupon to use at a later date. They urge parents to make reservations ahead of time.

WinterFest: The City of Rochester will be celebrating WinterFest from January 28th until February 14th. There will be a variety of activities for the entire family and funds raised support various area nonprofits.

LEGO Skyline and Architecture Build: The Barnes & Noble in the Apache Mall will be hosting a LEGO event for adults and teenagers 14 and up. The goal is to build a LEGO skyline display in the store. The event takes place Saturday, January 30th at noon. You can call 507-281-6826 for more information.
